Eucalyptus Oil

The oil distilled from the leaves of the Eucalyptus tree has been revered for its therapeutic properties for thousands of years by Austrian Aboriginal people. The medicinally active ingredients include Tannins, Eucalyptol and Cineole.

Uses of Eucalyptus Oil

It’s beneficial for healing wounds, fighting infection and relieving muscle aches. The oil when inhaled in steam bath helps control congestion loosens flem and ease symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection. Rub a little Eucalyptus Oil on ankles and wrists for an affective insect repellant. Pet collars can be soaked in it for a flea repellant and Eucalyptus lozenges are good for relieving sore throats.
